Here's something that happened on 24/06/07:
My father was as usual walking on the treadmill and I was doing my homework. He called me after some time and asked me to touch his cheek. And can you believe what happened?............... I got a shock!!!
The truth was that my father had been walking on the treadmill for so long that his body had gathered static electricity! Hence when I touched him I experienced a shock. later he called me to touch his hand and I did so - rather
cautiously - now feeling a rather stronger shock than the previous one; and he told me that when I had touched him he had felt a shock too!
Finally after he was done and the machine was turning off, my mom told me to go inside and record the date,
distance, speed, etc., in a notebook they used. the moment I came in, my dad gave me a nasty smile and said the first one to come in would get a 'shocking' hug. At first I thought he was joking, but when he came down with his arms outstretched, ready to embrace me, I screamed and threw the book in a corner and ran to the other room and locked the door!
Later, my dad regretfully told me that from the moment he got down, he had lost his electricity(I was silently thankful for this.)
So, what do you think? That 'shocking' enough for you?
